Senior Financial Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic financial expert to join our team as a Senior Financial Controller. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing and managing financial reporting, analysis, and strategic financial planning. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing growth and transformation, driving process improvements and standardization across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, consolidate, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal guidelines.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial performance and market trends.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with global, regional, and local finance teams, as well as non-financial departments, to ensure alignment and harmonization of financial processes and reporting standards.
  • Improvement Processes: Ensure full implementation of our new planning tool in our globally operating companies and adoption of local forecasting processes to foster efficiency and deeper insights into financial data.
  • Global Reporting Standards: Work across departments and regions to harmonize financial processes, tools, and global reporting standards, ensuring consistency and transparency.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and legal/regulatory requirements, supporting audit processes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in financial controlling or financial management, ideally in a global or multinational organization.
  • Skills: Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities, with proficiency in IFRS. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
