As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our leadership team, tasked with managing a Profit Center that allows for significant entrepreneurial latitude.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Oversight of the Profit Center, ensuring accountability for profitability, quality standards, and revenue generation.
  • Strategic development and alignment of the business unit, with a focus on Data Analytics, Process Solutions, and the latest industry trends.
  • Management of all client projects within the unit, prioritizing customer satisfaction, nurturing existing client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Guidance and leadership of approximately 17 team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Establishing a sales network for Data Solutions both within the Lufthansa Group and with external clients.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field along with substantial professional experience in IT.
  • Extensive experience in managing IT projects, Key Account Management, and the financial oversight of a Profit Center.
  • A strong capacity for leadership and employee development.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Process Mining.
  • Desirable technical knowledge in Data Analytics.
  • A high level of motivation, entrepreneurial mindset, customer-focused approach, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems with an agile mindset.
  • Fluency in German and proficient English communication skills.
  • A willingness to travel for project-related needs.
  • Participation in an Assessment Center.
