Your Mission

As a Master thesis analysis of damage tolerance (m/f/d), you will contribute to the development of a method for calculating delaminations in fibre composite structures. Your tasks will include:

  • Researching the influence of circular delaminations on the mesh
  • Comparing structured and non-structured mesh calculations
  • Creating a tool for structured mesh generation in ABAQUS
  • Applying the calculation method at component level
  • Documenting your results
Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Enrollment in a Master's program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Knowledge of technical calculation and composite materials
  • Initial experience with FEM (Abaqus)
  • First programming experience with Python (desirable)
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
