Robotics Field Service Specialist

Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader, and we're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our capital equipment in the North East region of Germany, with a focus on the Berlin area.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct technical support and troubleshooting through various communication channels
- Perform on-call emergency repairs for ROSA on site in the assigned territory
- Investigate product complaints to identify root cause analysis following established processes
- Complete administrative duties accurately and timely, including field service order documentation, field activity reports, and return material authorizations reports
- Support new installation of the ROSA through EMEA
- Develop rapport with hospital staff, including surgeons, robotics coordinators, and biomedical department
- Understand and operate within standard and site-specific Operating Room protocol
- Manage costs to deliver a high level of service at reasonable cost to the company
- Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Biosciences, or relevant experience with medical devices
- Minimum 2 years supporting capital equipment in the research or clinical fields
- Prior experience with Robotics or capital medical equipment preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relation skills
- Ability to work without specific direction on daily activities
- Project management skills would be helpful
