Academic Professionals in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science

BIC Berlin International College GmbH is a private educational institution dedicated to providing international students with language and subject-specific courses to prepare them for German universities. Our upcoming Bachelor Prep Program Technology English is conducted in English, and we are seeking qualified professionals to join our team.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science educator, you will be responsible for preparing students in your respective subject, including exercises and tests for the final examination at BIC. You will conduct the final examination together with other educators.
Subject Matter ExpertiseOur ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:
- Mathematics (Elementary mathematics, curve sketching, integration, extreme value problems)
- Physics (Statics, kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies, electromagnetic fields, DC circuits)
- Computer Science (including introduction to basic Python programming)
Our teaching units are 45 minutes long, and you will be required to teach a certain number of hours per week. Class times are from 09:00 to 14:30 and 16:15. Classes are conducted on-site, and the language of instruction is English.
RequirementsWe are looking for candidates who:
- Have good knowledge of the respective subject
- Have at least one year of experience in teaching groups of at least 5 students
- Communicate fluently in English (speaking and writing) including relevant subject-specific terms
- Have intercultural experience (an advantage)
- Have a work permit for Germany
- Are located in Berlin
We offer a great working environment with a supportive staff and a diverse mix of additional educators. Our classrooms are fully equipped with smartboards, whiteboards, laptops, printers, and Wi-Fi. We also have a kitchen with free coffee and tea.
