Master's Thesis: Development of Innovative Gas Diffusion Layers for Electrochemical CO2 Reduction

The electrochemical transformation of CO2 into syngas and other fundamental chemicals offers a viable pathway to mitigate and repurpose both human-generated emissions and atmospheric CO2. In the context of your master's thesis, you will engage in the development and evaluation of cutting-edge materials aimed at facilitating the industrial advancement of this sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Fabrication of gas diffusion electrodes along with their electrochemical evaluation
- Characterization of materials (e.g., REM-EDX, μCT)
- Analysis of products utilizing GC-MS
- Presentation of findings during internal project discussions
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master's program in Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge of electrochemistry is advantageous
- Prior laboratory experience is beneficial
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to explore new subjects
