Event Management Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Event Management Intern. As an Event Management Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of our Demo Day event, a significant showcase event that connects learners, volunteers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and organizing the Demo Day events, from concept to agenda.
- Propose creative and innovative event ideas.
- Promote the event through various communication channels.
- Manage invitations and ensure effective participant engagement.
- Handle logistics and prepare necessary equipment/materials.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including learners, volunteer coaches, and partners.
- Ensure smooth event execution through comprehensive support and promotion.
- Assist in the production and coordination of the live event.
- Manage follow-ups and stakeholder relationships post-event.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for our non-profit mission and willingness to contribute to our cause.
- Great written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
