Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Innovate and spearhead all SEO initiatives for the regions under your management to enhance key performance indicators and deliver exceptional return on investment.
General Duties
- Take ownership of each assigned SEO project from inception to results reporting.
- When necessary, manage, mentor, and support other team members.
- Optimize all aspects of SEO for your designated regions to drive maximum organic growth.
- Act as an SEO advocate by directing and overseeing all on-site evaluations and implementations to ensure adherence to SEO best practices (e.g., content briefs, Core Web Vitals, structured data, etc.) to achieve an increase in conversions.
- Stay informed about industry developments, search engine updates, and emerging trends, sharing valuable insights with the team to ensure the company remains at the forefront of SEO innovation.
- Collaborate with and report to senior stakeholders to highlight return on investment and progress achieved on key performance indicators.
- Leverage, create, and contribute to content strategies to maximize SEO growth.
- Ensure that content and technical SEO considerations are consistently prioritized.
- Assist internal teams in understanding search engines and support them in driving organic growth.
- Work closely with various internal and external teams, as well as regional offices, to identify commercial SEO growth opportunities and ensure SEO is prioritized.
- Collaborate with the Head of SEO or SEO Team Lead to define the regional strategy and deliver outstanding ROI.
- Conduct backlink audits and collaborate on managing ethical link-building campaigns.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Proficiency in German – full proficiency or native, and English – business level (both languages are mandatory and will be validated during the interview process).
- Over 5 years of SEO experience focusing on content, on-page, and technical enhancements.
- International SEO experience – working on global domains with multiple websites for different regions/languages that attract traffic from various search engines.
- Strong knowledge of significant SEO verticals and rich results: news, video, Google My Business, etc.
- Familiarity with CFD trading, spread betting, or investing would be advantageous.
- Experience in a regulated financial environment would be beneficial.
- Extensive experience with industry tools: Google Analytics, Semrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Advanced technical SEO expertise.
- Experience in managing and executing modern ethical link-building campaigns.
- Comprehensive understanding of search engine ranking signals.
- Strong overall comprehension of how content influences SEO efforts and how to optimize for it.
Qualification and Skills
- ROI-oriented approach to task prioritization.
- Strong understanding of statistical reporting and web analytics.
