IT-Service Manager Position Overview

As an IT-Service Manager within our Infrastructure division, you will oversee the delivery of top-notch services for our client IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Articulate and consistently refine service workflows while ensuring adherence to standards (including Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Escalation Management, and Problem Management)
- Develop and sustain essential documentation and procedural guidelines for support levels 1-3 (such as IT service process diagrams, operational manuals, knowledge transfer coordination, and communication templates)
- Enhance collaboration and elevate service quality with our clients and team members through standardized service management practices
- Produce and manage regular reports to illustrate service performance and comply with operational KPIs
- Act as the primary escalation point for clients regarding operational concerns
- Completed education or technical/business studies in Business Informatics, Technical Business Administration, or Economics; alternatively, several years of experience in IT customer support
- Substantial experience in managing operational IT projects and establishing IT service frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of IT service management - certifications in IT/Project/Service Management (such as ITIL Practitioner) are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative platforms (such as MS Project, MS Visio, Jira, awork)
- Ability to identify trends and innovations within the IT sector
- Independent, dependable, and methodical work approach
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills and clarity in expression
- High customer and service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Determination, assertiveness, and resilience
- Driver's license Class B - willingness to travel for business and client meetings as necessary
- Fluency in German, both spoken and written (C1)
