3D Graphics Working Student Position

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our team at ZEISS Group as a research assistant in 3D computer graphics and visual computing. As a research assistant, you will work on research projects that involve the development of next-generation products, focusing on cutting-edge 3D computer graphics methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development on 3D computer graphics and visual computing projects
  • Collaborate with a team of scientists and research engineers to achieve project goals
  • Implement cutting-edge 3D computer graphics methods and techniques
  • Contribute to the development of new products and technologies
  • Participate in the design and implementation of research projects

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Strong computer science background with excellent coding skills
  • Experience in at least one of the topics listed above (3D reconstruction, differentiable rendering, simulation of digital twins, optics simulation, and physically based rendering)
  • Good communication skills in English and/or German
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues
  • High degree of initiative and creativity, with a willingness to learn and explore new ideas
