Internship in Sustainable Innovation Management

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the world of sustainable innovation within a contemporary corporate setting while gaining valuable experience?

In the Innovation Management department of the Innovation & Sustainability division, you will find a vibrant and engaging work atmosphere. This internship offers you the chance to witness and engage in the development and implementation of sustainability-focused innovation strategies while contributing to the enhancement of Covestro's innovation culture.

Your role will involve:

  • Engaging in diverse strategic and interdisciplinary projects on an international scale (e.g., designing and organizing training sessions on intrapreneurship and innovative methodologies).
  • Crafting concepts and presentations along with internal communication and marketing initiatives related to sustainability and innovation (e.g., newsletters, intranet content, employee engagement events).
  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and evaluation of workshops and campaigns aimed at discovering, assessing, or advancing ideas.
  • Supporting the management of the Covestro Ideas Platform and the cross-functional innovation community.
  • Executing smaller independent projects.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, natural sciences, social sciences, or design.
  • A strong interest and enthusiasm for innovation, corporate culture, and transformation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Quick comprehension and analytical abilities, along with a systematic and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • A commitment to professional and personal growth, with strong communication skills.
  • A motivated, team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach that contributes to the success of our organization.
  • Excellent command of the German language and good proficiency in English.
  • Availability for an internship duration of five to six months.
