About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled ATP/Train Radio System Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Hennigsdorf, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements for ATP and Train Radio subsystems.
- Integrate subsystems into trains, ensuring mechanical and electrical compatibility.
- Develop and manage interfaces for dedicated subsystems, including mechanical and electrical specifications.
- Verify subsystems, focusing on train-level design reviews and ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Manage change and configuration processes for subsystems at the train level, including impact analysis and control of changes.
- Plan and follow up on activities related to subsystems, ensuring timely completion and quality.
- Collaborate with sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Provide technical inputs to engineering teams, sourcing, suppliers, or PUs to support project requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of railway systems and experience in this field.
- Knowledge of various ATP systems, particularly ETCS.
- Basic understanding of ATO systems.
