About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Event Manager to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our IT Event Services EMEA Team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering technical support for SAP meetings and events across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our SAP Marketing teams to plan and deliver technical support for events of all sizes, from small meetings to large conferences with over 10,000 attendees.
- Install and operate IT infrastructure for events, including laptops, servers, mobile devices, tools, and meeting technology.
- Act as an IT project leader or support the IT project leader for specific events.
- Produce and support MS Teams live events and Zoom meetings/webinars for internal and external audiences of all sizes.
- Reflect on your work and support your team in continuously improving our services.
- Develop and maintain internal tools for event planning and management, as well as event equipment or IT services.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is proactive, persistent, and curious. If you have the following qualities, we'd love to hear from you:
- High ability and willingness to work under pressure, even with ad-hoc tasks.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Open working style and openness to new ideas.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Programming knowledge in SAP Fiori or other programming languages is a plus.
- Travel readiness and willingness to work on weekends are essential.
- 5+ years of experience in the IT and network field.
- 3+ years of experience in event support/event management.
- 3+ years of experience as a project leader.
