About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Event Manager to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our IT Event Services EMEA team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering technical support for SAP meetings and events across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our SAP marketing teams to plan and execute technical support for events
  • Install and operate IT infrastructure for events, including notebooks, servers, mobile devices, tools, and meeting technology
  • Act as IT project manager or support the IT project manager for events
  • Produce and support MS Teams live events and host Zoom meetings/webinars for internal and external audiences
  • Continuously improve our services by reflecting on your work and assisting your team
  • Develop and maintain internal tools for planning and managing events and event equipment or IT services
Requirements
  • High ability and willingness to work under pressure, even with ad hoc tasks
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • Open working style and openness to new ideas
  • Fluent English and German language skills, oral and written
  • Programming skills in SAP Fiori or other programming languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends is essential
  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT and network environment
  • 3+ years of professional experience in event support/event management
  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager
