About the Role

  • Team Management: Lead a team of approximately 25 people, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Annual Division Budget: Oversee the annual division budget and monitor deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Business Strategy: Participate in business strategy development to improve and deliver high-quality consulting services and products.
  • New Service Lines: Grow new service lines and develop methodologies in Natural Climate Solutions.
  • Project Pipeline: Strategically support the structure of the project pipeline and cover client demand for carbon credits.
  • Project Proposals: Support in project proposals and provide technical feedback.
  • Joint Ventures: Drive new joint ventures in Africa, South East Asia, and strengthen the business in Latin America.
  • Representation: Represent FORLIANCE in various forums and corporate events.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather intelligence about market trends, relevant regulation, and policies.
  • Carbon Inventory: Oversee short-, mid-, and long-term Carbon Inventory management.
  • Carbon Forestry Projects: Develop a portfolio of carbon forestry projects.

About You

  • University Degree: Hold a university degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Background: Possess a background in the investment world.
  • Experience: Have at least 10 years of experience in managing international teams.
  • Professional Experience: Have at least 8 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in simultaneous management of different projects in an international team.
  • Business Planning: Experience in preparing business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with fluency in Spanish or French, and additional languages being an advantage.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel.
  • Regional Experience: Professional experience in Latin America, Africa, or South-East Asia is an advantage.
