About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Manager to join our team at Alstom, a leading company in the rail industry. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for securing high-quality suppliers and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier selection and contract management
  • Supplier Management
    • Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure that they meet the required quality, cost, and delivery standards
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure their continued support and cooperation
  • Contract Management
    • Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers that meet the company's requirements
    • Manage contract performance and ensure that suppliers are meeting their obligations
  • Cost Management
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce procurement costs
    • Monitor and report on procurement costs to ensure that they are within budget
Requirements
  • Education
    • Masters degree in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
