Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Chef to join our culinary team at Raditi, obrt za poslovne usluge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a senior chef or deputy head chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Proven track record of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
