Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving global safety through intuitive and accessible designs. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- UX Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand user needs and behaviors, and develop strategies to improve our products.
- User Journey Mapping: Create user journey maps and information architectures to structure our apps and improve user experience.
- Prototyping and Usability Testing: Develop clickable prototypes, test design concepts, and gather user feedback to identify and resolve usability issues.
- UI Design: Create detailed UI designs in Figma, selecting color schemes, typography, graphics, and interaction patterns that reflect our brand identity.
- Collaboration with Developers and Stakeholders: Work closely with the product team and developers to implement design decisions and balance user and business needs.
- Design System Development: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistent design across products and platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for mobile apps, preferably in a successful company where you have contributed to design decisions and implemented innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of user research and research methods, with the ability to lead junior designers and develop strategies to meet user needs.
- Passion for safety and a willingness to take on responsibility and contribute to our mission.
- Experience in mentoring junior designers and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent team skills and empathy, particularly in handling sensitive user needs and expectations.
- Proficiency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
