IT Network Specialist (m/w/d)

PALTRON GmbH is seeking a dedicated IT Network Specialist (m/w/d) to enhance our network capabilities.

Our firm collaborates with leading enterprises and public organizations, providing top-tier advisory services within a global network of esteemed law firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing, refining, and advancing the internal network systems
  • Working closely with the IT Security Team to identify and resolve security issues swiftly (including firewalls, internet proxies, mail gateways, and port security)
  • Engaging in organization-wide IT initiatives aimed at enhancing IT infrastructure (such as deploying an email encryption solution or upgrading WLAN)
  • Maintaining a high standard of IT infrastructure while adhering to established IT protocols and guidelines
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the IT networking domain with foundational knowledge of network architectures (covering LAN, VLANs, and WAN)
  • Preferably familiar with OSI layers (IPv4, v6,...), network appliances (e.g., Clearpass), or HPE/Aruba networking equipment (switches, WLAN)
  • Basic understanding of hybrid cloud environments (primarily in MS Azure)
  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient work ethic, and a strong commitment to quality
