As a Senior Application Engineer within the Technical Marketing division, you will engage in a global setting, delivering essential support and in-depth technical insights to our clientele. Your primary focus will revolve around automotive communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Offer specialized technical guidance and assistance to clients, internal teams, and business associates.
- Conduct product training sessions and workshops.
- Facilitate the market launch of Renesas MCU products in collaboration with key clients.
- Acquire a robust technical comprehension of our offerings and automotive standards concerning communication interfaces like CAN and Ethernet.
- Participate in technical Requests for Quotation (RfQ) alongside key clients and internal teams, emphasizing critical product requirements.
- Deliver demonstrations and create application notes.
- Travel to client sites, business partners, and internal meetings as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in microcontrollers and associated ecosystems.
- Understanding of MCU architecture.
- Familiarity with automotive communication standards and their application in CAN and Ethernet.
- Experience in embedded software and/or hardware development.
- Preferred experience includes:
- Measuring, debugging, and analyzing potential issues in client projects.
- Strong ability to grasp technical requirements and client expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and capability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Possession of a valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is essential.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken), with German language skills being advantageous.
- Skilled in using standard office software (MS-Office).
