We are expanding our development team and are looking for a software developer (m/w/d) for application development with a focus on web development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of applications for efficient analysis and management of large data sets
  • Responsible for modules and components:
    • Design and coding
    • Systematic function testing and quality assurance support
    • System integration
  • Expansion of our products throughout the entire life cycle and support of configuration management
  • Team member in customer projects

Requirements:

  • Programming knowledge:
    • HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
    • Angular 2+
    • Desirable: React, Ruby, Java, Python
  • Experience with backend frameworks:
    • Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot
    • Desirable: Nest.JS,.NET Core
  • Data storage:
    • SQL: (e.g. Postgres, MySql)
    • or NoSQL: (e.g. Elasticsearch)
  • Experience with development tools:
    • Visual Studio Code, Eclipse IDE, RubyMine, …
    • git, npm
    • Desirable: Docker, Gitlab, Jenkins
  • Experience with test frameworks (desirable):
    • Karma, Jasmine, Jest, Cypress.io
  • Methods:
    • Object-oriented development
    • Desirable:
      • Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns
      • Continuous Software Development / DevOps
      • Configuration Management (e.g. Ansible)
  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
  • Alternatively: Completed training as a computer scientist
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills in writing and speaking
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Interest in building knowledge and new skills
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Willingness to undergo a security check
