About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to lead our External Reporting team in the International department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a group of experts and developing and coordinating the VHV International Financial Process Landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experts in External Reporting
- Develop and coordinate the VHV International Financial Process Landscape
- Act as a competent point of contact for international units
- Better manage cross-functional and group functions such as Corporate Accounting, Risk Management, Controlling, and Corporate Governance
- Participate in projects, such as M&A activities
- Manage the final process of reporting
- Conduct business trips
- Participate in the preparation of board meetings and presentations
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background in a relevant field, preferably with several years of professional experience and leadership experience. You should have a solid understanding of accounting and risk management in insurance, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. Additionally, you should have intercultural competence and process thinking.
Requirements:
- Completed studies with a business-related focus
- Several years of professional experience, leadership experience desirable
- Sound knowledge of accounting and risk management in insurance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Intercultural competence and process thinking
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent knowledge of English and ideally another language (French, Turkish, Italian, or Spanish)
