POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a Medical Representative West (f/m/d) Eyecare to join our team in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the medical representative for EssilorLuxottica, engaging with ophthalmologists, hospitals, private clinics, and targeted dispensing opticians and optometrists.
  • Disseminate scientific and clinical information related to our products, focusing on key areas such as myopia, presbyopia, light management, and refraction instruments.
  • Promote our products and services to healthcare professionals through visits, training sessions, information meetings, and conferences to enhance prescription development under our brand.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge and solutions from EssilorLuxottica to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct field visits, medical and technical education, and participate in professional congresses, events, and symposiums.
  • Engage in medical and technical education with the ophthalmology community.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report to the Medical Affairs Manager and disseminate evidence-based information on our offerings to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Affairs Manager to establish visit plans and targets.
  • Monitor performance outcomes and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Work with Medical Education and Sales Teams to enhance EssilorLuxottica's presence in the market.
  • Support the growth of Stellest, Varilux, and Light Management solutions in alignment with business objectives.
  • Evaluate post-education impact metrics and adjust strategies to fully engage accounts in core categories.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in the field, focusing on myopia clinics and customer engagements.

INTERACTION NETWORK:

INTERNAL: Collaborate with Medical, Sales, and Marketing Teams.

EXTERNAL: Engage with eye care practitioners, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and orthoptists, as well as professional and scientific associations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Completed training as an optician.
  • Knowledge of scientific, clinical, and medical affairs, particularly in myopia management.
  • Fluent in German with sufficient English proficiency to comprehend technical and clinical documents.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in practice or industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including active listening and stakeholder persuasion.
  • Results-driven and capable of working autonomously.
