Role Overview:
In light of the implementation of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR, K-SoX), Kia Europe and its subsidiaries are required to effectively manage ICFR. The Assistant Manager ICFR will take charge of supervising and managing ICFR and IT general controls across all Kia Europe subsidiaries. This position will also facilitate communication and coordinate requests from the Kia HQ ICFR team.

The following are the primary tasks and responsibilities associated with this role:
Kia Europe Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR):
Act as the main liaison for Korean ICFR (K-SOX) compliance, ensuring a strong control framework for Kia Europe and its subsidiaries. Strategize, design, and execute the development and continuous upkeep of Kia HQ ICFR controls and associated procedures. Collaborate with control owners to validate the effectiveness of controls and implement corrective actions for any identified deficiencies. Lead internal evaluations and documentation of operational controls and IT general controls for Kia Europe and its subsidiaries. Support both external and internal ICFR audits, serving as a subject-matter expert on Internal Controls over Financial Reporting. Establish and manage an ICFR management system, providing ongoing operational support. Deliver timely and comprehensive updates on control readiness, testing outcomes, and remediation strategies to management.Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Controlling.Experience:
A minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience. Experience in financial auditing and internal control is highly preferred.Skills:
Strong intercultural awareness and understanding. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Expertise in financial and management accounting. Advanced computer skills (MS-Office), particularly Excel; knowledge of SAP BI is advantageous. Familiarity with the FI Controlling Framework. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
