Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Management Group Leader to join our team at Miltenyi Biotec in Bergisch Gladbach. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and upkeep of our technical facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of facility management professionals in Bergisch Gladbach, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Coordinate and document all maintenance and upkeep activities, including regular inspections and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Plan and implement the installation and upgrade of new technical equipment and systems.
  • Make informed decisions on the allocation of tasks and the engagement of external service providers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of our CAFM system, ensuring efficient management of our facilities and operations.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong technical background.
  • Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, and operations, with a focus on technical facilities and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Fluent German language skills, with a good understanding of English.
