Automotive Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) with Polish

Location: Essen
Role Overview
As an Automotive Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in assisting retailers with the effective resolution of technical issues. Your primary responsibilities will include addressing Technician inquiries when standard resources (such as literature and bulletins) have not sufficed, as well as providing electronic and online support utilizing diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist retailers and National Sales Companies (NSCs) in resolving technical issues.
- Enhance First Time Fix Rates and Customer Satisfaction to minimize Warranty Costs and Repeat Repairs.
- Provide support to the dealer network on challenging vehicles to improve repair success rates.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Investigation teams to identify vehicle product issues using quantifiable and factual data.
- Respond to technical inquiries primarily through electronic systems, and when necessary, via telephone or WebEx sessions.
- Document interactions and diagnostic advice within the client system to maintain accurate electronic records.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronics, including electric and/or hybrid vehicles.
- Completed training as a motor vehicle technician or foreman.
- Professional background as a service consultant/service manager or workshop foreman.
- Fluent in Polish (C2 level) and proficient in English.
