Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our energy storage team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our battery energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the internal BESS portfolio in line with investment preferences and goals
- Monitor the operation of the facility and evaluate the performance of the facility in close collaboration with the technical department
- Handle warranty claims with suppliers during the warranty period
- Plan and monitor maintenance and repair activities in close cooperation with the technical department
- Negotiate and manage O&M contracts
- Prepare financial and business reports, as well as forecasts for production and operating costs
- Analyze market trends to maximize profits and identify investment opportunities
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations during the operation of the facility
- Ensure the availability of spare parts
Requirements
- Degree in Energy, Electrical, or Information and Automation Engineering, or a comparable field
- Proven practical experience in operating electrical facilities such as wind/solar power plants or battery energy storage systems as an asset manager/O&M manager
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong engagement and sense of responsibility
- Strong analytical skills and a well-structured way of working
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent German and English
- Valid driver's license
- Curiosity and openness to innovation to continue developing in a dynamic environment
