About the Job
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As an IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a distributed and international infrastructure consisting of Linux and Windows systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, implementation and operation of high-availability IT infrastructures and data centers with a focus on servers, storage, backup and network-related services based on best practices such as ITIL and BSI IT baseline protection
- Use of central monitoring systems to analyze errors and identify potential sources of disruption
- Responsible for ensuring that communication and production processes run smoothly
- Troubleshooting and supporting colleagues in the technical support of distributed infrastructure components
- Ensuring detailed documentation of complex technical systems, process flows and troubleshooting strategies
Requirements
- Completed IT training, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration, alternatively completed studies in computer science, information and telecommunications technology or a related subject
- Several years of professional experience in system administration with a focus on servers and enterprise storage
- In-depth knowledge of server and storage hardware from HPE, Dell and Pure Storage
- Extensive knowledge of working with Windows and Linux servers, VMware, TPM basic services, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
- Very good German and good English skills
- Communicative and committed personality with team spirit, analytical thinking and a structured and reliable way of working
