About the Role

DataGuard is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Data Protection Consultant, you will be responsible for advising and supporting our clients on all data protection topics using our proprietary platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines for clients.
  • Conduct data protection impact assessments and risk assessments for clients' data processing activities.
  • Provide expert advice on data protection regulations and compliance requirements, keeping up to date with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Support clients in implementing data protection best practices and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement data protection strategies.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in data protection law.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Qualified data protection officer.
  • State examination or comparable degree with a legal focus (business law) or technical background (business/information technology).
  • High degree of independence, open-minded for new things, and hands-on mentality.
