Job Description

At DataGuard, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Protection Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our DPO team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on data protection, legal, and technical topics to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with our customers, including CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises and decision-makers in the enterprise segment, to provide tailored advice on data protection and related matters.
  • Develop and implement data protection strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Support and Product Engineering departments to implement feedback from customers and ensure seamless integration of data protection measures.
  • Support the development of our team members through training and mentoring, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection law and technology, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the company.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional experience in data protection law, either in-house or from a consulting perspective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Good command of English, with other foreign language skills an advantage.
