Our focus spans primary, secondary, and construction sectors in Chemicals, Food & Beverages, Metals and Minerals, Real Estate, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotechnology industries.

Our division is actively engaged in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Cell & Gene Therapy, Medical Devices, and Cosmetics sectors. We concentrate on Biotechnologies, Vaccine and Drug production, as well as R&D or QC laboratories within primary and secondary industries.

The life sciences division has been instrumental in numerous industrial projects, with investments ranging significantly.

Our multidisciplinary team adheres to GMP standards, and our architectural strategies enhance product, personnel, and waste logistics, alongside energy efficiency. Among our various specializations, we conduct logistical assessments and Master Plans to future-proof our clients' facilities.

Position Overview

In this role, you will collaborate with the International and German Business Unit Leaders for Life Sciences. Together, we aim to position our firm as a frontrunner in Life Science Engineering, executing our projects utilizing 7D-BIM and the most advanced project management tools alongside cutting-edge engineering technologies.

As the Project Manager, you will oversee a diverse array of projects, varying in scale from small to large. Your project management responsibilities may encompass multiple phases and/or specializations, including:

· Project feasibility: process outlines, facility layouts, comprehensive timelines, procurement strategies, financial assessments

· Project preparation: investment evaluations, foundational engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.

· Project execution: project oversight; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning oversight, operational management.

Key Responsibilities

The project manager will oversee daily project operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and technical alignment across various equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse clientele in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cell & gene therapy sectors. You will maintain and manage the entire project lifecycle; prepare status updates for senior management, and ensure that all project files adhere to established timelines. You will establish relevant metrics to assess key project performance indicators. Additionally, the project manager will identify and evaluate critical path activities, analyze potential contingencies, and devise alternative strategies to address them. You will also mentor team members, ensuring that the project team operates efficiently and aligns with project objectives, specifications, deliverables, and timelines.

Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience in international engineering projects within the Pharmaceutical sector.

· Proven leadership capabilities.

· Experience in training and mentoring junior team members.

· Ability to collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary, and multicultural teams.

· Strong communication skills with management and project team members.

· Proficiency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of French or another Central European language is a plus.
