AxiioTek Seeks a Skilled Pre-Sales Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Pre-Sales Engineer to play a pivotal role in the technical management of proposals and tenders. This role is ideal for a professional with exceptional project management expertise, excellent communication, and coordination abilities, who can lead a team through the tendering process and collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical management of requests for proposals and tenders, focusing on the planning and execution of sophisticated international installation projects.
  • Lead and coordinate the technical planning team during the tender phase, ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly addressed.
  • Design and plan media and lighting installations, from concept to implementation.
  • Review and validate customer-provided planning documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Assist in the creation of layout plans, detailed drawings, renderings, block diagrams, and other technical documentation to support project proposals.
  • Prepare comprehensive design reports and conduct technical risk analyses.
  • Develop preliminary project schedules, including construction timelines.
  • Facilitate and lead internal and external project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Provide expert technical consulting and coordination with clients, ensuring their needs are met while delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Manage and negotiate agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to secure project resources.
  • Collaborate closely with technical planning, commercial project management, procurement, and other business units to ensure project success.

Your Profile:

  • Extensive experience in pre-sales engineering or technical project management within AV or installations is essential.
  • Deep understanding of technical project planning, execution, and documentation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of the Audiovisual industry, particularly in the context of permanent and semi-permanent installations in cultural and entertainment sectors such as museums, exhibitions, and experience centers.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical consulting and coordination with clients, with a focus on meeting their requirements while offering expert guidance.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments, particularly on international projects requiring cross-cultural communication.
