Software Engineer for Electric Vehicles

We are seeking a talented software engineer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of electric mobility. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for our electric vehicles, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test software components for our electric vehicles, including charging systems, range calculation, and efficiency optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless vehicle operation.
- Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Extreme Programming, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development, including Java, C++, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
- Contribute to the development of our software architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and software development tools, such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong programming skills in at least two of the following languages: Java, C++, Go, and Python.
- Knowledge of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and debugging.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
