Are you enthusiastic about sourcing and managing procurement contracts? We are seeking a Subcontract Management expert who is prepared to take ownership of complex and technically demanding work packages from contract initiation to project completion. In this position, you will be an integral member of a collaborative organization, interfacing with various functional areas such as engineering, project management, commercial management, scheduling, legal, and construction management.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Overseeing and controlling subcontractor performance
  • Managing the commercial aspects of subcontractor claims
  • Handling modifications and change management with subcontractors
  • Coordinating claim management closely with contract management
  • Reducing risks associated with subcontractor delays
  • Negotiating contract agreements
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, design, quality assurance, scheduling, and project management
  • Promoting continuous improvement through regular feedback and lessons learned
  • Providing regular updates to the Project Procurement Manager

Show your expertise

  • You hold a degree in economics or engineering
  • You possess extensive knowledge of the construction sector (building construction, civil engineering) and relevant contracts
  • You demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical acumen
  • You are proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and have experience with SAP (preferred), along with a good command of both written and spoken German and English (minimum B2 level)
  • You are adaptable and willing to travel for extended assignments
  • You are proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative
  • You are decisive and take accountability for your choices
  • You embrace project work and view change as an opportunity for growth
  • You actively pursue your own development and inspire others to step outside their comfort zones
