Electronic Circuit Simulation Specialist

The role of the Simulation Engineer for Electronics involves a strong emphasis on the modeling and simulation of electronic circuits, as well as providing ongoing support to the development team in the design, characterization, and testing of automotive products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis of electronic circuits and systems to fulfill technical product specifications and circuit design needs.
- Execute testing, characterization, and verification of electronic designs along with their critical components.
- Investigate and implement simulations in related fields, including 3D thermal analysis, power distribution assessment, parasitic extraction, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and magnetics.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal departments and external consultants for specialized use cases.
- Assist the product development team with technical design evaluations, trade-off analyses, and design assessments.
- Create simulation models for internal applications.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronics or e-Mobility Engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant EMC standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Strong foundation in theoretical electrical engineering and electrodynamics.
- Proficient in utilizing relevant simulation tools and methodologies.
- Experience in a laboratory setting with electrical circuits is preferred.
- Able to work effectively within a diverse team, emphasizing strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills.
- Fluency in both English and German is essential.
