Working Hours: Hours per Week
Purpose and Objectives:
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our operations in Dortmund.
Responsibilities:
- Plan routes while adhering to legal and contractual obligations to ensure optimal efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels to guarantee product availability
- Generate orders from suppliers using SAP
- Coordinate logistics for both company vehicles and external providers
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding driving and rest periods
- Address invoice discrepancies and prepare freight credit notes
- Achieve budgetary targets
- Communicate effectively with logistics providers and staffing agencies
- Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods
- Track the return of empty containers to suppliers
Requirements:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally in logistics or trade
- Relevant experience in similar roles
- Strong interpersonal skills, including politeness and teamwork
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility and sound decision-making
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP R3
