Digital Experience Focus
The Digital Experience tribe is dedicated to enhancing customer interactions across our digital platforms. The Corporate Bank Portal is envisioned as the future ecosystem where clients can fulfill all their needs on a single platform, and this experience is what we are developing within our tribe.
As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in defining the visual and interactive components of our intricate web applications. You will collaborate with a team of full-stack developers, working closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with senior technical leadership on team operations, high-level technical implementations, and analyze software engineering metrics.
- Independently draft technical specifications and implement new React features in our web applications, managing relationships with backend developers, other frontend developers, and API design as necessary.
- Communicate daily with the Design team to ensure a solid and accessible user experience.
- Participate in design decisions regarding the future of the application and platform.
- As a lead developer, contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance code quality, test new technologies, mentor junior team members, and implement best practices in the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in semantic HTML and modern CSS, along with familiarity with common security threats (OWASP Top 10).
- Demonstrated, recent experience (5+ years) in core principles of modern frontend development. Knowledge of additional libraries (Vue, Svelte, Remix, Next.js) is advantageous.
- Advanced JavaScript proficiency (both vanilla and DOM), with TypeScript knowledge as a requirement.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and a solid understanding of web networking and cryptographic concepts.
- Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards (i.e., WCAG 2.x specifications).
- Open Source contributions and involvement in the frontend community are significant advantages.
- Experience leading small to medium-sized engineering teams is beneficial.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and collaboration with design teams.
