Controls Engineer for HVDC Converter Systems
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in Erlangen, Germany. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing open- and closed-loop control systems for HVDC Converter Systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Verify control logic using software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments
- Contribute to the clarification of technical requirements within project teams and with customers
- Work closely with a team of engineers to develop successful projects
- University degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or similar
- Good knowledge of MATLAB/SIMULINK, including modeling and verification
- Eagerness to work in a team and contribute to the energy transition
- Basic knowledge of converter technology and open- and closed-loop controls
- Experience in configuring automation systems is an advantage
- Very good English language skills, German language skills are an advantage
