Your Role

As a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist (f/m/d), you will join the Delos Cloud Security Operations Center (SOC). Your expertise will empower you to proactively detect and address security threats, protect vital assets, and uphold the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, overseeing the process from detection to resolution.
  • Assist in intricate investigations through forensic and malware analysis.
  • Design, implement, and maintain incident response protocols to ensure effective handling of security events.
  • Engage in offensive security activities (e.g., purple teaming exercises) to identify improvement areas and assess security measures.
  • Mentor new analysts and provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
  • Contribute to quality assurance within the SOC, including conducting ticket evaluations.
  • Communicate incident progress to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various teams to offer recommendations for enhancing security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Practical experience in threat hunting, detection engineering, digital forensics, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or offensive operations is highly valued.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple operating systems and platforms, including both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Familiarity with KQL, PowerShell, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
  • Understanding of advanced persistent threats, cyber kill chain methodology, and threat intelligence.
  • Team-oriented individual with strong communication skills in both German and English.
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 operational environment with an on-call schedule for weekends and holidays.
