As a FinOps Consultant at Liquid Reply, you will bridge the gap between Finance and DevOps, guiding enterprises through the complexities of cloud expenditure while maximizing their cloud resource utilization. Our role is to serve as a Trusted Advisor, harmonizing the interests of Business, Finance, and IT to facilitate transformative changes from within.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute cutting-edge FinOps initiatives in collaboration with a dedicated team, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives.
  • Manage client relationships throughout the FinOps Lifecycle, providing support at every stage (Inform, Optimize, Operate).
  • Establish FinOps Best Practices from the ground up and implement them alongside FinOps principles with your clients.
  • Engage in targeted communication with various stakeholders across Business, Finance, and IT.
  • Design and conduct FinOps training sessions, presentations, and create informative blog content.
  • Advance the development of FinOps topics within Liquid Reply and in collaboration with the FinOps Foundation.
  • Collaborate on expanding our offerings with innovative opportunities, such as FinOps for sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Completed university degree in fields such as business, computer science, economics, or mathematics.
  • Desirable initial experience in managing IT projects (e.g., utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies).
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and self-motivation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen interest in challenging work, adaptability, and a preference for fast-paced environments.
  • Preferred cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) or FinOps Practitioner credentials.
  • Initial experience with cloud cost management tools is advantageous (e.g., Cloudability, infracost, kubecost).
  • Proficient communication skills in English and German, along with a willingness to travel.
