Mechanical Production Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Production Specialist to join our team at Kesseböhmer. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machinery for production orders, maintaining accurate records and bookkeeping
  • Monitor production to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect tool wear and replace as necessary to prevent downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to extend the lifespan of our equipment
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on machines, buildings, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize production disruptions
  • Maintain and operate fire protection systems to ensure a safe working environment
  • Design and create small metal constructions to support our production needs

Requirements:

  • Experience in metalworking, particularly with CNC laser and/or punching machines
  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a structured and goal-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and operating PC software
  • Fluency in German
