Your Role:
- Apply top-tier skills to secure, monitor, and manage cutting-edge, scalable applications both horizontally and vertically.
- Assist in the software design process, focusing on non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, stability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with your team to ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of production systems, utilizing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Work closely with relevant DevOps teams to enhance the systems and tools available.
- Engage with our company-wide Site Reliability Engineer community to share insights, knowledge, and learn collaboratively.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience managing large and complex deployments.
- Proficiency in Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-native deployments to Kubernetes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, or similar.
- Experience in cloud-native monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
- Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or MariaDB.
Soft Skills:
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in promoting and defining best-in-class Site Reliability Engineer practices and tools.
- Strong team player with mentoring and coaching capabilities, recognized as an expert within the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to resolve issues, implement fixes, and manage production challenges.
