Your Responsibilities:We are in search of a seasoned Head of Data to guide our team in crafting and executing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our corporate goals and fosters organizational growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Steering the creation of our data strategy and roadmap in alignment with corporate objectives, and effectively conveying this vision to diverse stakeholders.
- Mentoring and nurturing a team of data professionals, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers, while providing ongoing support for their professional development.
- Establishing a self-service data platform for analytics, ensuring data is accessible and understandable for real-time decision-making and enhanced outcomes.
- Engaging directly in data management, advanced analytics, and project execution, tackling technical challenges while prioritizing measurable results and value through data-driven initiatives.
- Fostering a product-oriented mindset, focusing on developing and refining products or solutions that address customer needs and align with business objectives.
- Clearly and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders, collaborating closely with business leaders to leverage data for achieving business outcomes.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices, continually expanding knowledge of the ad tech sector and the needs of the target market.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, statistics).
- Over 8 years of experience in data management and advanced analytics, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong grasp of cloud-based data platforms and experience with large, complex data sets.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings and insights effectively to varied audiences.
- Enthusiasm for staying informed about industry trends and best practices, and a commitment to continuous learning in the ad tech domain.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
