Production Support Specialist

Job Summary

Advantest Europe GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Production Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated test systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain Advantest test systems according to quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, and perform repairs as needed
  • Integrate systems and services into customer environments
  • Configure system software according to customer requirements and Advantest regulations
  • Solve a broad range of hardware and software problems of varying scope and complexity
  • Collect and evaluate customer requirements for consideration in product improvements and new product developments
  • Manage short-term projects and achieve results using project management methodologies

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field, with practical experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Linux (Redhat) operating system
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in teams and in a global environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
  • Driver's license
  • Fluent English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • German language skills
  • Knowledge of Python or Perl programming languages
