As the Accounting Team Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role within our Finance Division, overseeing all facets of the organization’s accounting and financial reporting. Collaborating with a dedicated team of three, you will be instrumental in advancing the frontiers of drone technology.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with stakeholders across various departments to uphold financial integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate strategic decision-making through precise and timely financial data. By maintaining a seamless financial process, you will contribute to Quantum Systems' mission of leading the market in aerial data capture solutions utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Your Key Responsibilities:- Leadership of the Accounting Team: Providing both professional guidance and managerial oversight to the accounting staff.
- Accurate Bookkeeping: Ensuring efficient bookkeeping practices and actively processing business transactions.
- Financial Statements Preparation: Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with HGB standards. You will serve as the primary contact for both internal and external audits, coordinating audit processes, supplying necessary documentation, and addressing audit findings promptly.
- Tax Responsibilities: Overseeing the timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statistical reports in partnership with tax advisors and financial authorities.
- Process Improvement and Controls: Identifying and executing enhancements in accounting procedures. Establishing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Advisory and Communication: Consulting with management on all financial and accounting issues. You will also be responsible for onboarding new subsidiaries and supporting ongoing accounting during post-merger integration.
- Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Standards: Ensuring adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory obligations while monitoring legislative changes and adjusting internal policies as necessary.
- A degree or equivalent training in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting and financial management, demonstrating proven leadership skills and accomplishments.
- A structured work approach with a personal interest in drones or aerospace technology.
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to drive your responsibilities independently.
- An approachable, communicative, and knowledgeable demeanor that positions you as a trusted expert among colleagues.
- Fluency in English communication.
