About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Software Engineer to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern cloud-native applications based on popular open source projects and established best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop cloud-native applications using software development, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
  • Design and implement data models in databases.
  • Collaborate with software providers and implementation partners to deliver solutions compliant with cloud native standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable implementation and reliable operations of OT cloud solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, informatics, engineering, physics, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related working experience in agile environments.
  • Deep understanding of the cloud native computing foundation (CNCF) ecosystem, distributed system design, messaging, consistency guarantees, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency in C#, Go, C++, and Rust programming languages.
  • Fluent English skills and a strong drive to acquire new skills and learn about new technologies.
