Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Master's student to join our team at Bosch for a 6-month thesis project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project in the field of additive manufacturing, specifically focusing on process simulation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize process simulation models for the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) process
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of process parameters and structural parameters on part quality
  • Document and present the results of the project
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Simulation Technology, Computational Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Expertise in Finite Element Method (FEM) simulation and modeling
  • Experience with the LPBF process is a plus
  • Independent, structured, and self-motivated personality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
