Experience with EMEA payroll systems and the capability to independently abstract requirements is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter authority in initiatives aimed at enhancing payroll operations for specific countries or a cluster of small to medium-sized nations.
- Act as a subject matter expert in mergers and acquisitions as well as expansion projects.
- Ensure the operational efficiency of payroll processes from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with fellow payroll leaders to foster a culture of checks and balances within the Payroll Operations Team, ensuring an effective audit process.
- Engage in efforts to assess and redesign payroll processes to align with the company's rapid growth and commitment to quality.
- Work collaboratively across departments with HR, technology teams, finance, accounting, and others to guarantee adherence to best practices.

Basic Qualifications
- Prior experience with EMEA payroll processes and systems, along with comprehensive knowledge of statutory compliance (tax, labor laws, social security, garnishments, pensions, benefits, terminations).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities in a high-speed environment.
- Strong analytical and statistical capabilities.
- Proficient in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions and drive results.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in German.
- Proficient in MS Office (macros, formulas).
- Knowledge of personal income tax legislation and labor law.
- Familiarity with SAP, Peoplesoft, Workday, and ADP software.
- Experience in leading projects.
