About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional ESG Specialist to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Global Real Estate & Facilities Organization, you will play a critical role in implementing our ESG commitments at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt global governance and compliance frameworks to regional requirements, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Support the initiation and management of regional ESG projects, including vendor selection and risk assessment.
  • Ensure regional execution aligns with ESG standards and targets, driving business value and innovation.
  • Assess and react to regional ESG risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to regional ESG reporting, data collection, and analysis, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Foster relationships with local stakeholders and regional ESG organizations, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, real estate, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ESG principles and processes, with a proven track record of value creation and innovation.
  • Operational planning experience at a regional level, aligning with global strategy and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with distributed teams and partners.
  • At least three years of experience in an ESG-focused role, with a strong record of achievement and growth.
