Your Impact:

  • You will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the data infrastructure and pipelines in Azure and Databricks, serving as the foundation for our Data Product Teams.
  • When shaping the data architecture, applying best practice approaches to data protection and security is second nature to you.
  • You will confidently implement automated workflows and routines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Writing and optimizing complex T-SQL and Stored Procedures will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Creating data models in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Databricks will fall under your purview.
  • You will assist the Data Product Teams with data queries and data visualization.
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders in the Data Product and Platform Team will be essential.
  • Ongoing assessment and improvement of data availability, data quality, and platform stability will be a priority for you.

Your Qualifications:

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, a natural science field, or possess equivalent training or several years of experience in a similar work environment.
  • You have extensive knowledge and solid expertise regarding the Azure technology stack and Databricks.
  • You can demonstrate in-depth experience in working with data pipelines and data modeling.
  • Your skills in Python and SQL are well-founded.
  • You possess knowledge in data encryption and security.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience are among your strengths.
  • Teamwork is as natural to you as independent work.
  • You have an understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code and monitoring of cloud products.
